Two die in house blaze
An investigation is being launched into the blaze that broke out in Gwent Gardens in Swansea Thursday after two lives where claimed. Emergency services arrived at the scene around 6pm Thursday to find flames protruding out of the windows and doors. Members of the fire crew where taken to hospital after suffering from burns and smoke inhalation, after entering the house through the blaze to try and rescue those still trapped inside. Five other people have also been taken to hospital after receiving injuries from the blaze; a police spokesman informed there was no further information on their condition.
It took four fire crews from mid and West Wales to finally tackle the blaze, the cause of which is still unknown, and police are pleading for anyone with information to contact them. The Blaze was reportedly out at 9.30pm but unfortunately even through all of the efforts of the emergency services two people lost their lives the identity of whom is still unknown.
