Targeted pensioners home is raided
A pensioner from Audley in Staffordshire has been another victim of a conman, after she was distracted whilst five offenders entered her house and went upstairs.
The pensioner who was in her garden at the time was approached by a man, who claimed to be from the water board. He asked her to enter her home and turn on the tapes whilst the five raiders entered the home going straight upstairs and stealing her purse.
The police were on the scene within minutes; however the thieves had already made their getaway.
