Monkey swings by
Sitting down after a long days work, a young couple settled to watch the TV when they were joined by an unusual house guest.
A young Marmoset monkey had earlier escaped from Woburn Safari Place, surprised the young couple when it appeared on their curtain pole in Aspley Guise.
The couple, who were sat watching TV in their living room, thought that the monkey looked like a motorist's favourite toy, the nodding dog, as the Marmoset moved its head backwards and forwards, looking around the room.
The 6-inch monkeys, which are left to roam freely around the safari park often spend days rummaging through the woods surrounding the park, however on this occasion it appears that two-year-old Kite and her twin sister got lost.
The parks keepers are now monitoring the boundaries of the park so that they can understand what happened; unfortunately Kite's twin sister, Ponty, is still missing.
