Housing market grows for third consecutive month
Figures released by property group Hometrack, has shown that house prices have risen again for the third month in a row, providing home owners who are wishing to sell their properties with some welcome news.
In England and Wales, the cost of an average home has risen to £156,400, a 0.2 percent increase on September's figures. The statistics have also reflected that the average home is now taking approximately 8.4 weeks to sell, quicker than previous months and also 92.9 percent of sellers are achieving their asking price.
Director of Hometrack advised that over the past six months there has been a definite improvement in the housing market, however estate agents are still having issues with the number of buyers registering.
