House suffers damage by explosive device

Following an attack on a home in Merseyside, a family of four, including two children have been vacated from their home after an explosive was thrown at their home.

The explosive devise caused damage to the front door and the hallway of the house, but luckily no one was injured although all of the family was in the house at the time.

Inquiries are being made by police, including door-to-door inquiries to try and establish what happened.

The 2 children along with their parents have been moved out of the home and living in alternate accommodation whilst forensics examine the scene.
