House fire claims another life
An elderly man has been found dead in his house after a fire broke out in Brynford Street, Holywell at around 4pm yesterday. The 60-year-old man was discovered by fire crews after they had battled the flames, which were so strong that they were forced to wear breathing apparatus.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and fire crew will be spending time to talk to neighbouring residents, taking information and also providing safety advice and checks in order to help prevent this sort of incident reoccurring.
This fire is one of many that have occurred in the past year, fire crews have provided advice and tips to the public in order to prevent future fires.
