House blaze claims mans life
A man died in Morriston hospital Swansea, after being rescued from his burning house in Undy, Wales. The fire, which has left the house completely inhabitable, is being treated as an unfortunate event.
The blaze was so fierce that it led to 10 neighbouring homes being evacuation, fire crews were unable to enter the house due to its instability and the ferocity of the flames. A welsh gas company was called in to turn the mains gas supply off to the house while firemen battled the blaze from outside.
The 41-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after suffering severe injuries from the blaze but later died from the multiple injuries.
Police and fire crews have returned to the house to carry out an investigation as to how the blaze started.
