Homes suffer flooding in belfast
Following an immense amount of rainfall this week homeowners in Co - Tyrone had to be evacuated from their homes, including the rescue of a 12 year old girl.
The large amount of rainfall over the past couple of days caused tremendous stress on a local stream in a village in Belfast, causing it to burst its banks and leaving homes totally destroyed by flood water. One 12 year old girl who had been left in her home became stranded after the water gushed through her home; her father had to tackle the flood water to rescue her.
A number of homes have been left badly damaged in Wallace Height, Magheramason, however further homes and roads have also been damaged in the north west of the county leaving home owners and council workers to clean up the devastating effects of the torrential downpours.
