Damaged home ransacked by thieves

Thieves ransacked a home, which had recently been boarded up after a car crashed through its wall.

The home, which had only been boarded up hours before, was entered by thieves who stole thousands of pounds worth of belongings, including televisions, laptops and toys.

The house in Desford, Leicestershire had been hit by a car leaving a huge hole in the wall, forcing the owners to spend the night at a friends house, leaving the home unoccupied for the thieves to enter.
