Couple made to watch as home is burgled
Two homeowners have been left suffering from shock after their home was ransacked by burglars at 10.30 am on Saturday 29 September, leaving the house devastated.
The couple were forced to sit on the floor of their home whilst their property in Didworth, Devon was overcome by three thieves who stole large quantities of jewellery belonging to the couple.
Their buildings and contents insurance will help them to recuperate the value lost by the robbery, however only time will help heal the fright and shock left behind when someone violates your secure surroundings.
The authorities were called to the property and police helicopters were instructed to fly over the home and surrounding area to track the burglars down who sped off a light coloured getaway car.
Devonshire Police are urging for any witnesses to the burglary that may have seen the three men who were dressed in jackets with reflective strips.
Insure My House provides house insurance including contents insurance to help you guard against the costs of theft.
